Why is resting helpful when sick with the flu?

When you are sick with the flu, the advice out there is to get plenty of rest, but is rest supposed to prevent the flu? Definitely not. So what’s the purpose? To let your immune system recover enough to stop your flu symptoms.

But people who get the flu often, will tell you that that’s mostly all they do – rest! But like clockwork, when the “flu season” comes around, that’s what they do all over again.

Is there a way to actually prevent the flu? Yes! Start strengthening your immune system.

Building your immune system up is a lot like building a good reputation. It takes time and it takes persistence. And there are certain attributes you need to display to build your reputation. For example, honesty, integrity and yes, punctuality.

Over time you will begin to reap the benefits of building a good reputation for yourself and even the Bible says, “a good reputation is more valuable than gold.”

Well, your immune system is no different, because it always requires persistence. Now, I don’t mean you have to keep buying artificial vitamin c products persistently, though that is exactly what all the artificial vitamin c makers want you to believe. No, you have to eat and drink what builds up your immune system and you need to eat and drink what builds up your immune system daily.

Persistence is the key!

How long will it take for you to significantly strengthen your immune system? If you are persistent, just a few months!

One of the benefits of a strong immune system is no fear of viruses, especially the Coronavirus. Once your immune system surpasses the strength of the Coronavirus, you have nothing to worry about. All the ones out there with weakened immune systems are the only ones suffering and then dying from the Coronavirus and you do not have to be one of them, because you will start building your immune system right now!
